August 11

Meet-the-Team Picnic
SideOut Club members are invited to join the team for practice and then meet the team. Lunch is provided.

August 18

Home Match—Green & White Scrimmage (see schedule page for time)

August 31-September 1

Home Matches—Spartan Invitational (see schedule page for times)

Friday—Lunch with the Spartans, 12 noon
MSU faculty and staff get lunch and admission to Day 1 of the Spartan Invitational for $5.

Friday—High School Night
High school volleyball teams get free admission to attend the MSU/Kansas match. (Contact the MSU volleyball office to get on the pass list.) Includes half-time musical chairs game for high school mascots.

Saturday—Chalk Talk, 6:40 p.m.
SideOut Club members get the inside scoop about the weekend's matches from Head Coach Cathy George. In classroom 209.

Saturday—Free with Football Ticket Stub
Fans can show their ticket stub from that day's football game against UAB and get free admission to that night's volleyball session.

September 15

Home Match—Central Michigan (see schedule page for time)

White-Out
All fans are encouraged to wear white to the match.

Volleyball Alumni Celebration
Jenny Rood will sing the National Anthem. Former players will be honored during the match, between games two and three. The alumni will be guests in the beautiful LaSalle Bank Club for MSU football vs. Pittsburgh. They will also enjoy a tour of the volleyball locker room and facilities and meet the current team.

Camp Night
Participants from the 2007 volleyball camps can reunite with their friends and get free admission to the match. (Contact the MSU volleyball office to get on the pass list.)

September 28

International Student Night
All international students at MSU were sent personal invitations to attend.

Free Youth Clinic, 3:00-4:30
Participants watch the MSU game day practice, and then learn from MSU assistant coaches in a session on volleyball fundamentals. Participants receive free admission to the MSU match vs. Wisconsin. Register at 517 353-1756 or statevb@ath.msu.edu.

Family Fun Night, 5:30-6:30
Chili's will provide their famous fajitas for $5 per person. Free bounce house and giant slide for the kids. Chili's giveaway of free rally towels to the first 500 fans.

October 3

Home Match—Northwestern (see schedule page for time)

Coaches' Luncheon
Join Coach Cathy George and the MSU Volleyball family for a luncheon at 12 noon. The luncheon will be held at the Hall of Fame Cafe (formerly Damon's) located in East Lansing on Lake Lansing Road. Admission is free and a full lunch menu will be available for your purchase.

Bike Town Can Collection
Senior Miken Trogdon is heading up this charitable giving game. Bring in your refundable cans and proceeds will be donated to “Bike Town Africa”. Every $100 allows Kona Bike company to send a bike to Africa, learn more at www.konabiketown.com

October 19

Green Hair Dare
If attendance exceeds 2,500 for the match, the team will spray Cathy George's hair Spartan green following the match. Let's make Cathy "Go Green"! Free green wigs to the first 150 fans in the door.

October 20

8th Annual Volleyball Tailgate Party, 3:30 p.m.
Join us on the green in the south parking lot of Jenison (in front of the main entrance). Bring a dish or grill-able items to share, grill, eat, and drink with other volleyball fans. If you can bring a grill and charcoal, or a folding table, please contact Cathy Caswell at 332-4353 or caswell@msu.edu

Free Adult Volleyball Clinic, 3:30 p.m.
Open to all skill levels. Participants in the clinic will receive two free tickets to the Minnesota game! Please register at 517-353-1756 or statevb@ath.msu.edu

Adult League Night
Adult Volleyball leagues will be invited out to this game.

October 24

Away Match—Northwestern (see schedule page for time)

Volleyball Watch Party
Come join other MSU fans at the Hall of Fame Cafe (Rt 127/Lake Lansing Rd) at 7:30 to watch the Spartans take on the Northwestern Wildcats on the Big Ten Network. The game starts at 8pm, but fans are gathering at 7:30. Door prizes will be awarded, so come catch the excitement with fellow volleyball fans.

October 27

13th Annual Jam Jenison
Help MSU to a victory over Michigan! Free t-shirts to the first 500 fans!

High School Night
All High school teams, coaches, and chaperones can be admitted free of charge by submitting their rosters to the volleyball office (gawlikmi@ath.msu.edu) by Friday October 26th. Late rosters cannot be accepted by NCAA rules, so help spread the word and get your school represented!

January 13

Volleyball Banquet
The Spartan Volleyball Banquet will be held Sunday, January 13 at the University Club on Forest Road. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. with brunch served at 11:00. The cost is $30 for adults and $15 for children. Contact Nancy Lumley at lumleyn@ath.msu.edu for more information.

April 12

Spring Tournament
The Spartans will host a spring tournament in Jenison Field House from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 featuring Akron, Central Michigan, Grand Valley State and an MSU alumni team.

SideOut Club Annual Meeting
The annual SideOut Club meeting will be held in conjunction with the spring tournament on April 12 at 1:10 p.m.
